World star walks into Mallorca restaurant – owner “could not be more enthusiastic”

A Hollywood star surprised the staff of a restaurant on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

In Mallorca, a restaurant owner received a prominent visit.

A Hollywood star came by surprisingly - and showed no fear of contact.

Munich/Mallorca - The catering industry has had tough times.

The effects of the corona pandemic also caused a lot of problems for the owners of bars, cafes and restaurants.

Many shops also had to close on the holiday island of Mallorca, and some celebrity hosts even closed forever.

But meanwhile things are also looking up again for the Spanish restaurateurs.

In many places, the end of the Corona rules meant that more guests could be received in the bars again.

On Mallorca, a restaurant with Italian cuisine welcomed a very special guest.

And he appeared completely unexpectedly in the location - much to the delight of all employees.

On Instagram, the Palma-based "Sandro Restaurante" posted pictures of the very prominent guest, who is one of the biggest Hollywood stars.

"An actor whose voice you know.

We can't believe it.

Thank you for this surprise!

So amazing,” the restaurant owners wrote in English and Spanish.

"Morgan Freeman at our house, we couldn't be more excited!

We will never forget this moment, thank you very much," said the owner of the restaurant enthusiastically.

The superstar smiled politely at the camera in two pictures alongside restaurant staff.

Apparently he hadn't made a big deal out of his visit to the restaurant and had been mingling with the customers.

The Oscar winner, dressed in a relaxed casual look with jeans and a T-shirt, then posed for souvenir photos with the restaurant staff.

So much down-to-earthness was also well received by Instagram users.

"Not aloof.

Great,” commented one.

"He's a great actor and likes good food," another praised Freeman's choice of Mallorca restaurant.

A performance by the US actor at one of the largest sporting events in the world was recently judged much more critically.

Freeman played a central role during the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

That didn't go down well with everyone.
