Al-Hasakah - SANA
In continuation of its repressive practices against the people, the US-backed “Qasd militia” closed one of the entrances to the Ghweran neighborhood from the side of the bridge in the city of Hasakah with concrete blocks, which constituted a burden on the people of the neighborhood.
SANA's correspondent in Al-Hasakah stated that “the QSD militia closed the Ghweran Bridge road permanently without explaining the reasons, by placing concrete blocks on it to force the people to take the far Beiruti Bridge road to reach their homes and places of work.”
Local sources from the neighborhood pointed out that the closure of the road in light of the bad weather conditions increases the suffering of the people, especially that they resorted to a dirt road next to the entrance to the neighborhood at Ghweran Bridge, which is the closest to the city center, where children, women, the elderly, school students and people with special needs are forced to take Unqualified dirt road.
The people called on the official authorities, social and religious actors, notables, and tribal and clan sheikhs to intervene to open the road, and to stop the militia's violations and persistence in its repressive practices against the people, in the places it controls.
