This is what it could look like, Buchs gastronomy of the future.

The visualization by the planning office Arc Architekten shows that the new building on the previous green area will make the parish church of St. Martin even easier to recognize in the future than it is today, since the previous trees would have to be felled.

The development plan for the town center, which includes the Bucher Gasthaus, has cleared an important hurdle.

However, two SPD councilors still have concerns.

Buch am Buchrain

- The development plan for the town center, which includes the Bucher inn, has cleared an important hurdle.

The municipal council passed the approval and interpretation resolution, and the early participation process can now be carried out.

In the end, only two councilors still feared that the potential new catering building near the church was too oversized.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)

The design of the town center has recently occupied the community and citizens intensively.

Above all, the preservation of a restaurant is very important to both of them.

The previous gastronomy with tenant Gallo Nero is on the premises of the Loibl family, who have been redesigning their spacious area for three years.

According to the current planning status, a restaurant will probably be located in a new building on the previous meadow next to the parish church (we reported).

This planning status has now been further specified in a draft development plan and presented at the municipal council meeting by Florian Riesinger from Arc Architekten.

The plan includes four existing buildings and four new buildings: the potential new house for gastronomy and living space on the upper floor, two L-shaped residential buildings behind the existing boarding house and another small residential building behind it.

The size of the underground car park has not yet been finally determined, but it is to be placed under the L-shaped houses.

Additional parking spaces are above ground.

The height of the eaves is also fixed.

According to Riesinger, it is 6.45 meters for the existing inn, which is why 6.50 meters were also set for the new buildings.

A compensation area calculation has also already been prepared.

A closer look will only be taken in the next step, but if possible, the new buildings on the plot itself should be compensated for by ecological upgrades.

Ultimately, only Robert Ulzhöfer and Martin Kern (both SPD) spoke out against the draft development plan.

Their concerns were directed against the new gastro building on the meadow next to the church.

Ulzhöfer doubted whether the building "wouldn't be too high and limit the view too much".

Kern struggled with himself for the same reason.

He fears that the construction at the site will be "too massive", and he knows voices in town that express similar opinions.

Kern also questioned what influence the church and monuments office could have on the new neighboring house.

"We have very good cards.

I don't see why they should be against it," Riesinger said.

The ground monument at the church will not be affected by the construction work, and a building at this location already existed 200 years ago.

Deputy Mayor Josef Auer (WG) supported the decision to start the process now and reported on the community development concept (GEK).

In this committee, the preservation of the restaurant with the previous host is advocated.

Auer told the architect the GEK idea of aligning the terrace towards the church square so that a lively village square could develop here.

Riesinger replied that the terrace was not part of the development plan.

Although one has to take into account the slightly rising terrain towards the church, he believes that there are opportunities for outdoor gastronomy.

In addition, the deputy mayor suggested turning the floor plan slightly towards Hammerbach in the event of a possible new building of the previous inn in order to improve the passage situation to the rear part of the Loibl area.

According to Riesinger, it is still not certain whether the building will be renovated or replaced.

In the case of a new building, however, attention will be paid to enlarging the street, the architect assured.
