Zhao Yantao said on the Hong Kong and Taiwan program "Millennium" that although different testing companies use different nucleic acid reagents, the consensus is that when the Ct value is 40 or above, no positive results will be issued, only negative or indeterminate reports will be issued.
He continued to point out that in the past, when the Ct value reached 36 or 37, only positive results were written, but now the Ct value is also written on the report.
