A lot can happen in Feldkirchen in 2023 if the right decisions are made.

An overview.

Feldkirchen – “A lot may happen in Feldkirchen this year.

But that depends on some positive decisions," says Mayor Andreas Janson (UWV).

He alludes to the possible development on the gravel ground, a possible southern bypass and two possible retirement homes.

S-Bahn station

Janson can hardly believe it himself: The S-Bahn station conversion is actually finished!

Begun in 2018, the platform and the ramp for wheelchair users and prams as well as the new elevator should be ready by mid-2019.

Since then, the community has repeatedly been put off by the railway.

At the citizens' meeting, Janson still had to grin when he read the announcement from Deutsche Bahn that everything should be ready by the end of the year.

But actually, with the exception of the bike racks, everything was handed over to the citizens for use.

"We wanted to look for our own planning office for the breakthrough to the north, so that something could finally be done there.

But the railway has clearly informed us that this must be a railway office - I fear the worst," said Janson.

Isar Aerospace

However, the breakthrough from the train station to the north in the direction of Heimstettener See depends heavily on how "Isar Aerospace" decides whether they actually build their new branch on the "gravel ground".

Business for 500 employees, plus 500 apartments, parks, green spaces and leisure facilities are to be built on the 15-hectare site north of the train station.

In addition to Feldkirchen, however, Taufkirchen and Ottobrunn are still in the running as locations.

“If Isar Aerospace appeals to us in the spring, things will go very quickly there.

If they cancel us, we will completely replan the entire area," says Janson.

On January 24, he wants to inform the public about the current plans.

southern bypass

Waiting for the decisive "yes": Construction of the southern bypass could start this year - if the farmers participate and sell their land.

The planned southern bypass from Münchner Straße to the roundabout on the B 471 has just as many question marks. "We agree in the municipal council, we have also secured the routes - now it's time to negotiate with the property owners," says Janson.

He had already held preliminary talks two years ago.

"Back then, the willingness of farmers to sell was not negative."

retirement homes

And even with the urgently needed senior citizens' facilities, planning is still in the early stages.

58 barrier-free apartments are to be built on Dornacher Strasse, six apartments on the ground floor will be wheelchair accessible.

The residents of the high-priced retirement home are offered numerous bookable additional services: concierge with post office, housekeeping service, garden maintenance, 24-hour emergency call system, domestic support with all daily errands through to outpatient nursing service.

Group rooms for events and gymnastics as well as multifunctional treatment rooms for therapies and massages are also planned.

However, the lawyers for the municipality and the developer have not yet clarified all the points.

Reside in old age: A retirement home with 90 rooms and 38 apartments is to be built on this property - if the concept becomes a plan.

After much criticism, the second retirement home on Münchner Strasse was redesigned with a different architect.

Now there are to be 90 care rooms, each over 22 square meters in size.

In addition, 38 barrier-free apartments for assisted living will be built.

On the opposite side of the street, the investor is planning another building with 53 apartments, 28 for employees and 25 barrier-free for assisted living.

Janson described this "as a concept of how the project could be continued, this is not yet a new plan".

condominium

On the other hand, the new residential complex with lunchtime supervision on the Raiffeisen site presents itself without any ifs.

There are 59 apartments and two times ten flat shares for seniors.

"We are absolutely on schedule and still almost 500,000 euros under the calculated budget of 29.43 million euros," says Janson with pride.

The apartments from one to five rooms are advertised until January 20th.

The first house was ready in October 2022, the second will be ready by February and the third by April.

Move in: from June.
