Shock in the air: On the way to Frankfurt Airport, a Eurowings plane has to stop in Miami due to a medical emergency.
Frankfurt - Flying is one of the safest means of transport.
Nevertheless, many passengers sometimes feel a bit uneasy - especially when unforeseeable events happen in the air.
This fate befell the passengers of an Airbus A330-343 on the way to Frankfurt Airport on Sunday (January 8), as can be seen from the flight data from
flightradar24.com
.
The plane of the airline Eurowings Discover, which started in Montego Bay (Jamaica), had to stop in Miami (USA) due to a medical emergency, as reported by fnp.de.
Tragic: The same person had to be treated medically on the outward flight a few weeks earlier.
The portal schiffe-und-kreuzfahrt.de reported on this.
According to this, the plane could have continued the flight because there were medical professionals on board.
The passengers all traveled with the plane for a Christmas and New Year's Eve cruise with start and finish in Jamaica.
According to the travel portal, the person concerned was unable to take part in the cruise due to medical problems and was taken to a hospital in Jamaica immediately after the outward flight.
However, there does not seem to have been any actual improvement there, as the stopover in the US state of Florida on the return flight proves.
