Opinion Shaw Ziona is a miracle. And what flag? | Israel today

Before 1964, the year the PLO was founded, was the Palestinian struggle seeking peace? The first known victim of the Palestinians was called Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Zalman Zorf, and he was murdered in 1851

The announcement by the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, about the police's intention to enforce the law that prohibits the waving of PLO flags in public spaces, sparked a conversation:

"What in the world will they say?" asked the worried.

"What else is left for them?", wondered the innocent.

"This is our identity, and nothing you do will change it," protested those committed to the violent Palestinian struggle.

In a country that lives in need of life, not a single statement was uttered defending the PLO flag or opposing its removal. In Britain, would the government and the authorities be confused about the waving of ISIS flags? How would an organization be perceived that hangs the British flag next to the flag of Hamas or Hezbollah at the top of the street, as an organization did? Strengthening", which published the flags of Israel and the PLO side by side under the caption "we are meant to live together"?

What American in his right mind would side with his neighbor if he were to wave the al-Qaeda flag?

Not even one.

The PLO flag is no different from any of the flags of the above terrorist organizations.

There is no difference between the essence of these organizations and the essence of the PLO or the Palestinian struggle. The only difference lies in the way in which Israeli citizens have normalized Palestinian terrorism and its symbols.

The ban on flying the PLO flag already exists in some places, such as East Jerusalem, but not in other places - the innovation is the directive that seeks to do so everywhere.

One of the claims heard against the enforcement of the ban was that according to which it is not a PLO flag, but a Palestinian flag - that is, not the flag of a particular movement, but of the idea that believes in the Palestinian people and their struggle, which began in terms of its issues long before the establishment of the PLO.

It does not change anything in relation to the meanings derived from the flag - the murder of Jews, terrorism and violence.

Before 1964, the year the PLO was founded, was the Palestinian struggle seeking peace? Don't let them work on you.

The first known victim of the Palestinians was called Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Zalman Zurf, and he was murdered in 1851.

Not many years later, in 1920, more familiar events of the murder of Jews began throughout the country.

The name of Haj Amin al-Husseini goes before him as a Palestinian who hates Jews, who encouraged their murder and supported the German idea of their extermination.

Thousands of civilians have been murdered by Palestinian hands since the beginning of the Zionist movement.

Surely you want to be proud of the fact that it is not a PLO flag at all, but a Palestinian flag?

Law enforcement is doubly important.

Also due to the deepening of the conscious understanding that the Palestinians are not partners but heartless murderers, and also in front of the Israeli Arabs who believe that it is possible to hold the rope at both ends: both to enjoy the benefits of the Jewish state, and also to support those who seek its extermination.

The decision to ban the waving of PLO flags is an important public service, which will promote coexistence in Israel and allow Jews and Arabs to live together side by side.

As we were taught for years to believe that there is no solution other than two states for two peoples - an engineered solution that is incompatible with the Palestinian struggle - so we must prepare for a long struggle to establish the truth and return it to its rightful place.

The Palestinian flag - or the PLO flag, call it whatever you want - is a flag that symbolizes terrorism, violence and the murder of Jews. The task for which our forces will be required is an important one, and it must be approached with full faith in the righteousness of the way.

With the same belief, by the way, it is appropriate for Ben Gvir to deal not only with the Palestinian symbols, but also with the violence rampant in the streets.

Now, after he went up to the Temple Mount and addressed the issue of the PLO flag, Ben Gabir has to turn to tours of the Arab villages where the residents are not safe - also due to the direct connection between Palestinian nationalism and criminal activity, as a result of the lack of recognition of the state. The Palestinian lie ends up hurting the Arabs of Israel as well , and regardless - there is no reason why they should not be proud of their country and also wave the Israeli flag.
