The theater director, Muhammad Marwan Idlibi, is considered one of the theater directors who, through their work, dealt with many social and humanitarian issues, which touched a wide range of people.
In an interview with SANA, Idlibi indicated that he grew up within an artistic family that cultivated within him the values of art and theater, to start his life in the Aleppo theaters with his father, the late artist Marwan Idlibi, at an early age.
And he indicated that he chose television drama to be his first gateway to entering the world of acting, which was through his participation in the 1998 series Al Thuraya.
The director of the play On the Verge of Life, which is presented as part of the celebration of the Directorate of Theaters and Music on the Arab Theater Day at the Al-Qabbani Theater in Damascus, explained that his real beginnings were with the theater in 2008, when he participated in the play “Mamo Zain” with the director Dr. Muhammad Al-Sheikh, so that he participated in many works, including The theatrical performance “Al-Watan is Gal” with the artist director Ghassan Makansi, in addition to the theatrical work “Abus Trabek Ya Aleppo” with the artist director Hussein Shaiban.
Idlebi pointed out that monodrama has a special importance in his theatrical life, in which he started as an actor and then a director for a number of texts. His first experience with acting in the world of monodrama was the Bouyji theatrical show, which he considered one of the most important and difficult works that he acted in because monodrama is an art that depends on one actor who embodies A number of characters at once.
The director of the Labor Theater in Aleppo considered that this theater is one of the most important stations of his professional life, through which he was able to direct his theatrical works, which he directed to a wide segment of society, through which he touched the problems and concerns of people, and presented them in a funny and close way to them: If after a while.. an exact copy. The original.. dead, suspended.. passed through a hundred men.. as he participated in it as an actor.
And about his experience in the children's theater, Idlibi pointed out that dealing with the world of children is not an easy matter, so there must be a focus in any presentation on scientific information, encouragement of reading, and the promotion of values in a simple and likable manner and in an interesting and purposeful manner, pointing to his directing of many works directed to children, including Dreams of Shams In 2008 with director Mohamed El-Sheikh, and currently he is preparing for a theatrical work that will be shown during the midterm holiday under the name “Sponge Bob”, written by Dr. Mohamed El-Sheikh.
