On the way to the main inspection in Holzkirchen, a man from Miesbach made a fatal mistake.
The police stopped the journey.
Now he faces criminal prosecution.
Holzkirchen
– On the way to the TÜV, the police caught a 26-year-old driving an unlicensed Nissan in Holzkirchen on Tuesday.
The man is now facing criminal charges.
According to the police report, a patrol checked the gray car around 1:25 p.m. on Holzkirchner Industriestrasse because it was driving without a license plate.
It turned out that the driver, a man from Miesbach, wanted to present the car for the general inspection.
"Since there were no license plates on the vehicle, the onward journey was prevented," reports the police.
Criminal proceedings await the 26-year-old for violating the Motor Vehicle Tax Act.
Driving without a permit is permitted in certain cases – but certainly not in one case
The police make it clear that driving an unregistered car is permitted if it is related to the registration process.
"This includes, for example, trips made to attach the stamp sticker, as well as trips to the main inspection or safety check." However, trips without a license plate are generally not permitted, even with an existing eVB number.
