Three indictments were filed today (Thursday) against three young men, 19 and 21 years old, residents of Hadera and Pardes Hana Karkur - for aggravated assault and the wounding of an officer at the Orchid Hotel in Tel Aviv.
The fight that broke out at the Orchid Hotel began when three young hotel guests threw objects from their room on the eighth floor.
The hotel staff called the police.
After they were asked to leave and realized that the police were on their way to the scene, the defendants began to confront and threaten two of the hotel's employees.
Later, the defendants attacked the security officer who intervened, broke a glass on his head and beat him with an iron chain, kicks and punches.
As a result of this attack, the complainant needed hospital treatment.

The police arrested the accused and the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended their detention.
At the hearing, the police representative, R.N.G. Yoni Hirschhorn, said that an employee who saw things being thrown went outside to see and then went up to the room of the three. The defense attorney claimed that they can be released since it is an esoteric offense that does not establish grounds for arrest and the ones who started it were the staff members.
This morning, with the conclusion of the investigation, the prosecution unit in the Tel Aviv District filed an indictment against the three of them on counts of assault and injury under aggravated circumstances.
