Doctors, caregivers are concerned but not only.
There is also a lack of cooks, plumbers, administrative agents to ensure the proper functioning of the structure, the main employer in Pays de la Loire, with nearly 9,500 people (excluding doctors) working there.
Faced with this situation, the establishment decided to innovate.
He organized a “job dating” on Wednesday.

Objective: to provide some 150 fixed-term contracts for next summer but also to offer an unspecified number of permanent contracts in various trades.
Nursing assistants and night nurses were the most sought-after profiles.
“The job market has tensed since the Covid crisis and we need to create the event”

All day long, in a stone reception hall at the Saint-Jacques hospital, candidates flocked to the stands displaying the various functions of the hospital (administrative, logistics, kitchen, IT, geriatrics, rehabilitation, psychiatry, etc.). .).

On the nursing side, many nursing students are looking for a job for the end of their studies, next July.
"I always knew I wanted to do this job and I feel useful in what I do
," says Justine Hardy, 20, in her final year at the Institute of Nursing (IFSI).
Her eyes sparkle with joy, she has just obtained in ten minutes a promise of employment on September 18th.
