About two months after the death of his younger brother Aron in tragic circumstances when he was only 34 years old, Nick Carter, the vocalist of the band Backstreet Boys, dedicates a new song to him.

As you may recall, at the beginning of November Aron was found dead in the bathtub at his home in Los Angeles, when it is believed that the singer and child prodigy, who for years struggled with severe drug and alcohol addictions and a host of mental problems, died of drowning as a result of an overdose.
The new single "Hurts to Love You" was shared by Carter (42) with his 2.2 million followers on Instagram yesterday (Wednesday) when the emotionally charged lyrics accompanied a music video documenting the pair of brothers in their childhood.

"We all have someone in our lives that no matter what they did and how much it hurt you, you will still love them," Carter wrote in the text that accompanied the post.
"I dealt with it the best way I know", he explained the choice to express his feelings through a song.
"It feels like we've fought wars no one else will understand/Too many nightmares to remember/I always hoped your tomorrow would be better than the days before it/I hoped you'd find your way/The way that would make you happy in the world.
"It hurts to love you, but I still love you/I miss you with all my heart and always will
," Carter paid tribute to his younger brother in the lyrics of the song that has so far garnered more than a million views and hundreds of thousands of likes.

"My heart is broken," Carter wrote in a post and tweet he shared in November a day after the death of his younger brother, the same brother whose relationship over the years has been fraught with drama, including restraining orders and serious allegations of abuse and violence.

"Even though my brother and I had a complicated relationship, my love for him never waned. I always had hope that somehow one day he would choose to walk a healthy path and eventually get himself the help he so desperately needed," Carter wrote in the post he uploaded.
"Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for our loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real enemy here. I will miss my brother more than anyone can ever imagine. I love you, Chiz," Carter wrote and signed: "Now you are the end You finally get a chance to get the peace you couldn't find here. God, watch over my little brother."
