Al-Miqdad discusses with Naji developments in the Palestinian arena and the importance of achieving Palestinian national unity

Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today, and Talal Naji, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, and his accompanying delegation discussed developments in the region, especially on the Palestinian arena, and the importance of reunification to achieve Palestinian national unity in light of the continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation and its violations of international legitimacy resolutions and human rights. Palestinian people.

Minister Al-Miqdad renewed Syria's condemnation of the practices, violations, and continuous killings committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, and the desecration of Islamic sanctities, which constitute a war crime and a crime against humanity condemned by international law, the Human Rights Charter and international humanitarian law, as well as the gross violations of human rights to which Palestinian prisoners are exposed. at the hands of their Israeli executioners.

Al-Miqdad also stressed that the Palestinian issue will remain the central issue for Syria, which will continue to support the Palestinian people, their firm and inalienable right to self-determination, and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

For his part, Naji gave a presentation on the difficult situation of the Palestinian cause, the struggle led by the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli massacres, and the extremist racist policies of the occupation;

with the aim of liquidating the Palestinian cause, pointing out that Syria has never abandoned its national role and firm position in support of the cause of the Palestinian people in order to obtain their legitimate and inalienable rights, and stressing that Syria was and still is the steadfast fortress on the side of the Palestinian people in their struggle and sacrifices;

In order to obtain his rights and establish his independent state.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Riyad Abbas, Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Hussein Abdel Aziz from the Minister's office, Khaled Jibril, Anwar Raja and Ramez Mustafa from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
