A 47-year-old man was injured today (Thursday) by a lightning strike in an agricultural area in the valley.
A medical team arrived at the scene and performed CPR on him, after finding the victim unconscious and with burns on his body.
Earlier today, a fire broke out in a residence in Moshav Nahalel, as a result of a lightning strike.
Three fire crews from the Nof HaGalil station in northern Israel were called to the scene.
No injuries were reported, but a lot of damage was done to the house.

When the first team arrived on the scene, it became clear that the lightning strike was in the tiled roof of the house.
This caused the wooden beams from which it could catch fire, as well as the fire to spread in the place.
The teams had to go up to the roof of the apartment, dismantle the shingles and reach the center of the fire.
A short time later, it was reported that the fire had spread, after the teams worked to put it out and prevent it from spreading throughout the house.
