Finsing's financial planning includes 31 million euros by 2026. The debt is increasing.

Finsing

- The financial planning of the municipality of Finsing covers around 30 million euros for the years 2023 to 2026. That is how much they want to invest in the next few years.

In addition, there is another million euros for the all-weather site at the school, the conversion of the local lighting to LED and the purchase of land for new building areas, "which will inflate the whole budget a bit again," said Mayor Max Kressirer (WGE) in the municipal council.

He approved the financial planning, which serves as the basis for the budget deliberations in the administration and finance committee.

It will meet on Monday 16 January at 7.30 p.m. in the town hall boardroom.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)

Kressirer reminded the municipal council that the investment requests had already been reduced by around ten million euros.

But even so, the municipality assumes a debt of 14 million euros after four years.

"It's going to be an exhausting number, I've said that several times," said Kressirer and added: "If you see how other municipalities are fighting: If Oberding and Erding have a cold, then we're really sick." He's been warning for two, three years ago, Kressirer continued, "and it is now much more dramatic because of everything that has happened, including because of the crisis.

We're going to have to deal with these huge investments that we have step by step.”

The municipality of Finsing would like to draw up its budget at the end of January, even if the big unknown is the district levy, whose levy rate has not yet been determined.

However, the district plans to adopt its budget later.

Dieter Heilmair (CSU) advocated not preparing the budget in January, "but waiting until we have reliable figures.

We're under no pressure," he says.

"A certain pressure is already there," Kressirer replied, "because we are actually not allowed to spend measures that we have for the first time before we have an approved budget".

For the time being, it is about a preview of the next four years, but the committee will meet regardless of this.

"And if we think we don't have the numbers we need, then we'll add a supplementary budget.

But we also need a certain level of security from the administration," said the mayor.

Heilmair also addressed the issue of the fire brigade or new fire engine for Eicherloh by inquiring whether a certain amount could be put aside for a new vehicle every year.

According to Kressirer, however, the housekeeping would be double-edged.

Reserves are formed for the water supply, he added - "if we have additional income, then we transfer this to the reserve and therefore do not have such fluctuations in the fees for investments".

Otherwise, nowhere else have you worked with reserves.

Manager Helmut Fryba said that you could theoretically do this for every budget item - "so why especially with the fire engine?" Ludwig Lex (FWF) suggested that the administration should clarify before the committee meeting whether reserves are possible at all.

"Then you can discuss whether it makes sense or not."
