The mother of the girl who was murdered in 2006 told 103 that she is still not convinced that Zadorov is her daughter's killer. She is awaiting a decision, which will be given on March 9, but she is still full of doubts. "The court cannot give an order to continue the investigation. My real war - to find the murderers"

Ilana Rada, the mother of the Tair girl who was murdered in December 2006, claimed this morning (Thursday) in an interview with 103FM that she is not convinced until this point that Roman Zdorov is the killer.

"We will have to accept whatever the court decides," she clarified.

"There was malice here from the beginning."

Yesterday, the panel of judges announced that on March 9 the verdict will be handed down in the retrial of Zadorov, who was released from prison in 2021.

When asked about setting the date for the retrial, Ilana said in an interview on Nissim Mashal and Guy Peleg's morning program on 103FM, "I knew and understood that in fact any verdict that will be given in the trial will never solve my problem, if they point to one possibility or another regarding the potential of a murderer or Murderer, this court still cannot give an order to continue the investigation. My real fight will really be to find the murderers."

Later Rada added that she trusts the court and if it is determined that this is the truth - she will have to accept it.

"If I think differently and want to fight, I will continue. I'm not looking to free Zadorov, and I'm not in his favor, I've always said that as far as I'm concerned, the burden of proof is on them. To prove to me that Zadorov is the one who murdered Tair," she said.

When asked if she was convinced that Zadorov was the killer, she replied "up to this stage, no."

At the end of her words, she clarified: "They said that they would turn over every stone and everything to check. They turned the repeated trial into a repeated investigation, I was surprised time and time again. There was malice here from the beginning. It's a long story, it came from our place here in the Golan. Everyone thought I was delusional at first , but when you live here for 40 years, you understand the conduct."
