The company said that the new PNS online shopping logistics center has invested more than 200 million Hong Kong dollars, equipped with multiple intelligent cargo distribution machines to cooperate with more than 100 delivery fleets, and is expected to handle more than three times the volume of goods, and can deliver on the same day at 11 am Previously confirmed orders, processing more than 15,000 kinds of goods, will increase to tens of thousands in the near future.
ParknShop also pointed out that in addition to adding real-time customer service to "PNS Online Shopping", it also plans to incorporate metaverse elements to increase interaction with customers.
Leveraging on the ParknShop physical store network, the "Store Pickup" service currently covers more than 220 self-pickup points in Hong Kong and Macau. Due to the increasing usage, it plans to expand the service to more Macau areas.

Online sales expected to double this year
Ren Liang'an, managing director of ParknShop Supermarket, said that as early as three years ago, ParkShop planned to set up a PNS online shopping logistics center to accelerate the development of online shopping business, but the progress was affected by the epidemic.
He emphasized that the logistics center is the most advanced in Asia, introducing automation and artificial intelligence technology to manage and forecast inventory, reducing manpower by at least half. The second phase will be opened early next year, and the scale will continue to expand in the future.
With the gradual customs clearance between Hong Kong and the rest of the world and the mainland, many Hong Kong people travel abroad. Ren Liangan pointed out that there will be a short-term impact on online sales, but he is not pessimistic about the prospects of Hong Kong's online shopping business.
At present, the average number of daily orders for PNS online shopping is 2,000, and the average amount of each order is 900 yuan. It is expected that the total online sales will double this year.
At the same time, ParknShop will continue to develop offline and online retail business, and plans to open about 10 to 12 more branches or concept stores this year.
In terms of manpower, Ren Liangan pointed out that with the launch of the new PNS online shopping logistics center, ParknShop will hire more than 100 jobs. At present, half of ParknShop's delivery team is its own delivery team, and the other half is logistics company partners. The logistics team will also be strengthened.
