(CNN Spanish) --
Bizarrap and Shakira launched this Wednesday their first collaboration in the well-known and viral format of the Argentine producer, the
music sessions.
This is session 53 and it is Bizarrap's first song in 2023. "For this
Session
, Bizarrap worked with the particular audio of their synthesizers and together with Shakira they searched for a spirit linked to the 1980s," says a statement shared with CNN .
Through her Instagram
stories
, Shakira shared a video hours before the launch of what was a campaign they carried out to promote the song.
It is about a plane that flies through the sky of Miami with a sign that says "a wolf like me is not for guys like you."
In the song, Shakira says that "women don't cry anymore, women bill", referring to female empowerment after a love break.
The Colombian begins the
session
by saying: "Sorry I caught another plane / I'm not coming back here I don't want another disappointment / so much that you gave yourself as a champion / and when I needed you you were your worst version".

The reaction to the announcement was immediate.
Part of the song's lyrics were leaked in the Spanish media at least a day before the release, in which he apparently pointed to his ex-partner Gerard Piqué, with whom he had a 12-year relationship and they have two children, Sasha and Milan.
The announcement on Twitter garnered nearly 99,000 retweets, nearly 12,000 comments, and more than 673,400 likes.
On Instagram, the impact was even greater, the publication –in a collaborative format– obtained almost 6 million likes and more than 101,000 comments.
The first dart that Shakira would have thrown at Piqué
The spite was the central axis of the previous release of the Colombian singer.
On October 19, Shakira premiered "Monotonía", a bachata with Ozuna in which she spoke crudely about how her heart was broken.
"Baby, I love you, but I love myself more / it's a necessary goodbye / what one day was incredible became routine / your lips don't taste like anything to me / now it's the opposite," Shakira said in one of the stanzas.
In October, Sony Music Latin, Shakira's label, said that "Monotonia" was the biggest female solo debut on YouTube.
"Shakira broke records upon the single's release...with the biggest Spanish-language debut of 2022, the biggest female solo debut on YouTube and the biggest debut of her career," Sony Music said in a statement in October. 2022.
"Monotonía" and "Te felicito", together with Rauw Alejandro, will be part of the new album that Shakira is preparing, of which the release date is unknown.
