After an anti-terrorist raid in Castrop-Rauxel, the defense attorney for the 32-year-old accused requested a date for a detention review.
After visiting her client in the JVA, she was convinced that the allegations against him were not reliable, said the lawyer for the German Press Agency.
Castrop-Rauxel – The 32-year-old and his brother (25) were arrested by a special task force on Saturday night.
The Attorney General accuses the two of having planned an Islamist-motivated attack.
For this they are said to have sought cyanide and ricin to murder people.
According to dpa information, the arrest warrant for the two men was based on information from the US FBI.
Accordingly, the men are said to have expected a delivery of castor seeds first on New Year's Eve and then on the day of the raid.
However, none were found.
