Reichersbeuern has big plans for 2023.

The expansion of the local heating network and road construction projects set the pace in the first half of the year.

The center of the village should come to the fore again.

Reichersbeuern – The construction of the wood chip thermal power station is already in full swing.

"We started in autumn 2022 and are currently in the shell construction phase," says Dieckmann about the current status of the project at the school.

"If everything goes according to plan, the technology can be installed in the next few months." The aim is to put the power plant into operation in the next heating period, i.e. from autumn 2023.

Combined heat and power plant: Private households can connect

Municipal buildings such as the school, town hall, kindergarten and fire brigade are connected, as well as the “Altwirt” and the Raiffeisenbank.

There is also "enough capacity to connect private households," says Dieckmann.

That's important because: "In 2022, interest in it among the citizens has of course increased significantly."

Heat lines are to be expanded

Another focus is on line expansion.

"The heating lines go from the heating center at the school," explains Dieckmann.

It is planned to expand this with new strands.

"We are currently in the process of tendering for the project and expect the contracts to be awarded in the spring." In order to lay the lines, it is of course necessary to dig up the streets.

"Therefore, road closures in the area of ​​Tegernseer Strasse, Tölzer Strasse and Raiffeisenstrasse are to be expected."

As soon as the work on the expansion of the local heating network has been completed, the renewal of Sachsenkamer Straße will be on the agenda.

Work on the TÖL 13 entails closures

In 2022, the district road TÖL 13 was renovated from the railway underpass to the beginning of Reichersbeuern.

The resulting milled material was installed directly in the part of the Schongerweg that had not yet been expanded (we reported).

In 2023, the missing section from the entrance to Raiffeisenstrasse is to be renewed and the existing sidewalk along Sachsenkamer Strasse is to be extended to Ruhpointhöhe.

"The district is responsible for the former, we as a municipality have to take care of the sidewalk extension," explains the head of the town hall.

Either way, you also have to be prepared for road closures for the work on the TÖL 13.

"There will probably also be short-term full closures at times." When and where exactly these will be, Dieckmann cannot say at the moment.

Village renewal: Funding decision has been received

In addition, according to the mayor, village renewal will be a priority this year.

On Wednesday came the decision from the Office for Rural Development that the community had been waiting for to be included in the support program of the Free State.

"Of course we're very happy about that," said the mayor.

On January 31, it will be announced which areas in the town center and in the corridor are intended for village renewal.

The plans are then posted in the town hall and can be viewed online.”

Board required for participant cooperative

The next step is to appoint a board of directors for the participating cooperative of all owners.

“All landowners in the area of ​​village renewal will be contacted.

A meeting is then held to elect a board of directors.

From then on, projects, such as the design of the village center, can be tackled.” Because: “This cooperative is only able to act if there is a board of directors.” remains."

Residential construction: "We want to see what we can do"

Another topic is land use planning for the Margeritenweg area.

“The community owns a lot of land here.

Here we want to see what we can do with regard to housing construction," says Dieckmann.

"It's important to me that we don't grow too fast, but I also see the problem that living space is needed." Whether and to what extent the municipality will create living space will crystallize in 2023.
