On a notice, a cat owner writes that his pet would resemble a dog more and more - but he actually has other concerns.
Hamburg – A walk in the Fuhlsbüttel district could come as a surprise these days: near Hamburg Airport, passers-by could come across a notice from a concerned cat owner.
His words sound like an appeal, at the same time as a call for help to the neighborhood.
The poster's writer describes worries and anxiety that would plague his families.
The starting point: Kater Kasimir is a "dog trapped in the cat's body".

"Unusual hangover": Kasimir is more and more like a dog - the owner is worried
A cat that is actually a dog: Anyone who takes a walk through the north of Hamburg in January 2023, which experts describe as the “record winter”, may have already heard about the story.
Regardless of the actual veracity, Kasimir's owner's tale remains curious all the time.
Already at the beginning the owner writes that Kasimir is an “unusual tomcat”.
Anything but shy.
A little animal that follows strangers to their apartment door for something to eat.

A seemingly pronounced acting talent complements his "efficient" acting.
He always finds a way to get hold of prey - if necessary he gives the impression that he is in need of help - with success.
Now the cat is getting fatter and fatter - at least that's what Kasimir's family are reporting, who are seriously worried about Kasimir.
Appeal to the neighborhood: No more food for Kasimir
The abundance of food, Kasimir's daily prey, is already having an impact on his appearance and health.
The author of the notice says that the cat is now "unhealthily fat" and visits to the vet are becoming more and more frequent.
But something else is also evident: Kasimir behaves differently than ordinary tomcats and is already characterized by his owner as a "dog in a cat's body".

According to a study by an international research team cited by
National Geographic
in 2017, dogs have twice as many neurons as cats.
Whether that also has a meaningfulness about the respective intelligence?
Probably yes.
Because dogs are also popularly considered to be the more loyal and social animals, Kasimir's owner probably comes to this curious conclusion.

A statement that he evaluates with an emoji with a wink.
Because in his letter, the owner is concerned with a completely different matter.
Out of consideration for Kasimir's health, he hopes for the support of the neighborhood to stop feeding him in the future.
Then his family won't have to worry about him anymore - and maybe Kasimir will mutate back into the tomcat he actually is.
