A woman and a man, a friend of her partner, died early this Friday in a fatal accident on the 25 de Mayo highway, when a van carrying passengers on the Metrobús lane
ran over them after they got out of the car
in middle of a discussion.
The tragic event occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the
Metrobús lane of the 25 de Mayo highway
at Carabobo street, when the Peugeot 207 in which two men and a woman were traveling stopped due to an argument between the driver and the woman, her partner, who got out of the vehicle.
The woman got out of the car on the Carabobo ascent to the highway and her partner
's friend followed her when she crossed to the Metrobús lane
, where they were run over by a passenger van from the La Medalla company, which was heading to the center of Buenos Aires.
Both died on the spot
as confirmed by medical personnel from the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME) who arrived at the scene.
