In the video: a 50-year-old man was shot to death in Ramla (Israel Police Spokesperson)
Ali Jaroshi, known as the "arbiter" of the Jaroshi crime family, was shot dead tonight (Friday) in Ramla.
Jarushi, a man in his 50s, arrived at Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Be'er Ya'akov in critical condition and after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts, he was pronounced dead on the spot.
The police began searching for the suspects in the shooting, along with the collection of findings at the scene by the criminal identification investigators, as part of an investigation that was opened.
Following the incident, the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir stated that "this morning I will ask the Prime Minister to implement within a short period of time the provisions of the section of the coalition agreement between Otzma Yehudit and Likud, which allow the Shin Bet to be used in the fight against crime families.
After an examination of the work of the police and a very deep appreciation for the commissioner and the selfless policemen, the Shin Bet must also be brought into action in an intensive manner.
It is important to note that this will be done alongside the activities of the police, and I wish success to all the investigators and special units that are working on the issue and have led to important arrests, and just this week they thwarted a murder incident.
However, there is no escape from also activating the General Security Service, in a phenomenon that is becoming a scourge, and the Shin Bet's ability to bring more quality intelligence and use special investigative powers that are not given to the police."
