Anne Will will end her political talk show at the end of 2023

The talk show "Anne Will" will end at the end of 2023.

She is one of the most well-known television journalists - but at the end of the year Anne Will will end her Sunday evening format.

Then it's "time for a change," she says.

A successor is not yet known.

Hamburg – Anne Will will end her political talk show on the first at the end of 2023.

The contract is expiring, said the Norddeutsche Rundfunk (NDR) and the presenter on Friday in Hamburg.

Will said: "I want to concentrate fully on the remaining programs together with my great team, so fulfill the contract with undiminished commitment and great joy, but I do not want to renew it.

Then it's time for change, other projects, new perspectives.” With that, one of the best-known television journalists of the year ends after 16 years of political talk shows on the first.

A possible successor for the Sunday evening format in the ARD community program is not yet known.

The NDR and the ARD are in talks, the broadcaster said.

Frank Plasberg had recently stopped after many years on the talk show "Hart aber fair" in the first.

The show will continue to run on Monday nights under the same name with new presenter Louis Klamroth.
