During his wishes to the press on Thursday, the elected official therefore promised: in 2023, the projects of citizens' initiatives will be debated in the municipal council.

The inhabitants will be able to send a written request to the City on all subjects which contribute to local life and which fall within our competence
", specifies the city councilor.
Developed by Tiphaine Ardouin, deputy in charge of permanent democracy and governance by collective intelligence at the town hall of Bordeaux, the device must be voted on in the spring.
Its commissioning is scheduled for July.
This "
citizen inquiry
" will take the form of a file to be submitted to the town hall or a form to be completed online.
And the Bordelais will not need to be thousands to be received.

An appointment at the town hall from 150 signatures
A gradation is planned.
From 150 signatures, a petition will give rise to an appointment.

From 1,500 signatures, elected officials and technical teams relating to the themes concerned will be involved.

At the fourth and final level, that is to say when their projects collect at least 4,000 signatures, the inhabitants will carry their voices to the municipal council.

Post-clearance checks will be organized to verify the eligibility of signatories.

", the town hall of Bordeaux is considering recruitment for this position.
