Government of Peru does not give in: President of the Council of Ministers says that Boluarte will not resign

Protesters in Peru do not give up.

They demand the resignation of President Dina Boluarte, that general elections be called and that the death of at least 49 people be investigated during the protests that began in December 2022 after the dismissal of Pedro Castillo.

In response, the president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, reiterated that the president will not resign from her position.
