Deep shock and sorrow in Kfar Blum following the death of the three local boys, Uri Malol, Daniel Porat and Ariel Stern, during the night (Friday) in an accident near Beit Hillel.
"An unimaginable event, children who are our flesh," said Tomer Kobi, director of the settlement's community association, "we are a strong community, everyone is mobilizing to help."
The three boys, all 17 years old, were killed during the night in a serious car accident near Beit Hillel in the Galilee.
Two other people, aged 35 and 43, were injured in the accident.
Apparently the boys' vehicles and the other vehicle collided head-on after one of them swerved for an unknown reason into the opposite lane.
The boys are hanging out in a cafe.
Daniela Porat Panso, Daniel Porat's aunt, said that she heard about the accident this morning from the director of social services of the local council.
"She told me that I had to go to Kfar Blum, that there was an accident and Daniel was killed. On the drive I thought about all the scenarios and what would happen a year ahead," she said.
According to her, her brother Amiram, Daniel's father, died six years ago.
"We're terribly used to it as a family. We've lost a lot. And I ask why. We all ask why. It's a cry to heaven of 'What else will happen?'"
Daniel is the eldest sibling in his family, he has another sister and two brothers.

Ariel Stern is also the eldest of a brother and sister who are younger than him.
His funeral will take place at 2:30 pm.
"It's a major disaster," said Yossi Stern, a friend of the Stern family.
"On a personal level, I know the family and Ariel - when he was little and his parents were traveling, I would look after him. He was an exemplary guy, loved to help, was full of respect. I am not his parent but I had parental authority over him," he shared sadly.
The third boy, Uri Malol, was a middle brother, even though he had an older sister and a younger brother.
His funeral will be held at 1:00 pm.

"It's a very, very difficult morning for the Upper Galilee," said Giora Zaltz, head of the council.
"These are very wide circles, of families and friends. These are joint schools. This is a very big event that we are trying to digest and manage. Kfar Blum is a strong kibbutz and we are all connected and will continue to accompany the families."
