Irish pub in Franconia has to close: pub sells inventory – “It hurts”

A cult pub in the Nuremberg region less.
The "Irish Times" closes its doors and the last "souvenirs" were sold at a flea market.
Simonshofen – The news came as a shock to many guests in mid-December.
The "Irish Times" pub in Simonshofen (Nürnberger Land district) had to close its doors.
And forever.
On Facebook, the guests mourn their Irish pub.
"We will miss you" and "It hurts to read it" can be read under the last post in the pub.

The last opening day was actually before Christmas, on December 17th.
The day after, the team said goodbye on the pub's Facebook page and thanked the guests.
In the comments, numerous fans of the Irish pub wish the owners all the best for the future.
"Should your brilliant burgers, spareribs and co. be available somewhere else at some point, let me know, we'll definitely be there," someone assures.
At the weekend the bar opened its doors again.
For a flea market and a last Guinness for those who want it.
Or even two.
On Saturday (January 7th) those interested had the “last chance to get another souvenir.” The owners sold decorations, inventory, crockery and glasses.
The rush was great.
The owner told the Nürnberger Nachrichten
that the guests were already standing at the door half an hour before the start to secure a souvenir
.
The Nuremberg cult bar Trocadéro also said goodbye shortly before Christmas. The building is to be demolished to make way for new housing.
Pub forced to close due to reduced sales and high costs
The reasons for the end of the popular pub?
The owner of the local newspaper reports that sales have fallen by 40 percent, but due to rising energy and raw material prices, the business is unfortunately no longer profitable.
The Irishman enriched the region with his pub for eight years.
Now a new chapter is coming to the former hosts.
