40-year-old Salim Alhuashla from the Bedouin diaspora was shot to death today (Friday) on Route 40 near Naot Hovav in the Negev.

The MDA teams that arrived at the scene determined his death and the police began an investigation and gathering evidence. The murdered man's cousin told Walla that he was killed by a stray shot at him and accidentally stumbled upon the scene after he wanted to make his 11-year-old son happy and went for a walk in the field with the ATV. "He is deaf- Mute and did not hear the shooting at all.

A charming person and an exemplary family man."

According to the police's suspicion, the background to the case is a conflict between families in the Ramat Hovav Diaspora and the murdered man was shot by a bullet he did not aim at. Salim apparently did not hear the shots due to being deaf and mute. The police arrested a 20-year-old from the diaspora on suspicion of involvement in the shooting.

We performed medical examinations, but he had no signs of life and we had to pronounce him dead on the spot."

Yesterday, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir went to the Negev, where he conducted a tour for the first time as part of his duties. A man in the settlement protested during a battle between clans, which has been going on for several days in the settlement. The residents of the settlement are angry and demand that he keep his promises: "It feels like a war for several days, waiting for a great son to come and put order here."

A 42-year-old man was moderately injured during a fight in neighborhood 2 in Arara on Wednesday.
