There will also be numerous road construction sites in the district this year.

The State Building Authority provides an overview of this.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

– A prognosis for the new year can already be made: there will be a lot of construction going on again on the streets of the district.

The only thing that hasn't started yet this year is what is probably the largest project in the region at the moment, the construction of the Tölz northern bypass (we reported).

Nevertheless, the State Building Authority has a whole series of measures on the list that are to be implemented in 2023.

Guiding a minister of state to the region can be worthwhile.

At least two cases in which representatives of the state government got an idea on site are making progress this year.

For example, Kerstin Schreyer, then Minister for Construction and Transport, visited Bichl a year ago to have the problems with the level crossings there explained to her.

According to Martin Herda from the State Building Authority, the solution that was presented at the time for the B11 level crossing will be implemented in 2023.

As reported, the level crossing at Bühel has been closed since 2019.

Farmers who have to cross the tracks to their fields in Loisach-Kochelsee-Moos and want to drive over the B11 level crossing have the problem that they are not allowed to turn left onto Töl 3 (Klosterstraße) immediately after the level crossing.

"Because agricultural vehicles would protrude onto the level crossing when waiting for oncoming traffic," explains Herda.

For this reason, Töl 3 is now to be relocated 20 to 30 meters to the west, so that it connects to Sportplatzstrasse.

The municipality has taken care of the necessary acquisition of land.

"It is to be expected that this will succeed," says Herda.

The state building authority is currently preparing the plans on this basis.

The implementation is planned "over the course of the summer".

In the truest sense of the word, Schreyer's successor, Christian Bernreiter, was apparently shaken up in October 2022 by a trip on State Road 2368 from Dietramszell to Bad Tölz.

In any case, part of this stretch of road with holes will be renovated this year.

It is about "a short-term measure that is possible because the state road construction budget is well equipped this year and the funds are available," says Herda.

The state building authority will tackle the section in the southern area from the Oberhof district of Tölz in the direction of Ellbach and, "if things go well, to the entrance to the forest near Kirchbichl".

This part is "easier to do", says Herda - even if the following stretch is even bumpier.

However, the wish that representatives of the Jachenau municipality brought to the minister is not being fulfilled this year.

A renovation of state road 2072 to Jachenau "cannot be promised", Herda clarified when asked by our newspaper.

As reported, the state building authority only takes on a second concern of the municipality.

The authority is examining how much it would cost to move the state road towards the mountain slope on the route from Wieden to Bäcker at a narrow point between Brunnenberg and Jachen in order to make room for a cycle path route there.

Speaking of the cycle path: According to Herda, the connection between Tölz and Lenggries along the B13 will continue to be built this year.

Only "small remaining work" is still to be done on the largely completed section between Lenggries and the entrance to Obergries.

The next section up to the junction with Töl 16 (near Aldi) is expected to be “finished in midsummer”.

1.3 million euros will be installed here this year.

The cycle path costs a total of 2 million euros.

Together with the district, the State Building Authority closes a gap on the Töl 12 district road between Ergertshausen (Egling municipality) and the existing cycle path on State Road 2070 (Wolfratshausen-Sauerlach).

The state will assume 300,000 euros of the costs, and the district 150,000 euros.

The renewal of the Dietramszell through road is a project that has repeatedly caused road closures in recent years.

There is a breather for drivers this year.

Because according to Herda, only work a little off the road is planned for 2023.

A culvert for the Zeller Bach will be renewed, and a rainwater retention basin with rainwater clarifier will be built in the area of the bus stop there.

Only in 2024 will the renovation of the remaining 200-meter section of the through road be on the agenda.

The through road in Deining (municipality of Egling), which is being renovated, will be closed for the entire construction season.

According to Herda, an amount of around one million euros is estimated for the first construction phase.

State road 2071 between Schäftlarn and Beigarten has been closed on one side on Eglinger Flur for over a year.

The adjacent Isar slope had started to slide during storms in 2021, and according to Herda, movement can still be seen in the road on the valley side.

In the fall, probably in October or November, the road will now be secured.

"Because we are in the FFH area there, we are currently in coordination with the higher and lower nature conservation authorities," says the department head.

Through roads in Reichersbeuern and Greiling will be renovated

New traffic lights are also part of the state building authority's projects.

A permanently installed pedestrian traffic light will be set up on Königsdorfer Strasse in Wolfratshausen at the height of the Edeka market.

"There is currently a temporary solution there - but it has been for ten to twelve years," says Herda.

These traffic lights, which stand on foundation pedestals on the roadway, have been hit and run over several times.

And the state building authority is planning two more traffic lights in the northern district, namely at two "accident blackspots": the intersection between Richard-Wagner-Strasse and the B11 in Geretsried and at the connection between the B11a motorway feeder road and the Außere Beuerberger Strasse (state road 2370) in Wolfratshausen.

In both places, according to Herda, "not sure if we can make it this year".

In the case of the district roads, renovations are planned on Töl 19 (Icking), on Töl 12 in the through-roads of Reichersbeuern and Greiling and on Töl 24 from Vorderriß to Hinterriß.
