The 16th season "I'm a star - get me out of here!" starts on January 13th at 9:30 p.m.

12 participants traveled to Australia.

But one has still not arrived: Martin Semmelrogge.

Australia - Finally jungle camp in Australia again!

The 16th season starts on RTL on January 13th.

Not only with 12 new candidates, but also a new moderator.

Since Daniel Hartwich resigned from his post last year, Jan Köppen is now taking over.

And he doesn't mince his words and scoffs at the IBeS candidates - whether they're there or not.

Jan Köppen makes fun of Martin Semmelroggen

Martin Semmelrogge was actually supposed to take part in the jungle camp.

But his arrival is probably delayed.

So far, RTL has spoken of "production-related reasons" that delayed his arrival in Australia.

But the unofficial version sounded very different.

It was assumed that Martin Semmelrogge would not get a visa because of his criminal record.

Jan Köppen now confirms this version.

"In the last 20 years, Martin Semmelrogge has seen the courtroom more often than Barbara Salesch," he scoffs at the almost jungle camper.

However, Jan Köppen is surprised that the actor does not make it to the country.

After all, they would have even had murderers in the jungle camp.

This probably means Ingrid van Bergen.

They even won the RTL show in 2019.

Ingrid van Bergen killed her lover

To explain: In 1977, Ingrid van Bergen shot her lover, the finance broker Klaus Knaths, in a villa on Lake Starnberg.

Knaths was hit by two bullets in the chest and abdomen and succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.

Ingrid van Bergen was later sentenced to seven years in prison for manslaughter.

It is unclear whether Martin Semmelrogge can move into the jungle camp late.

Even if he were to get a visa and be allowed to enter Australia, the actor would still have to be in quarantine before he was allowed to join the other candidates.

So it's unlikely that he'll come back.

However, Djamila Rowe will take his place at IBES.
