A 21-year-old man was killed today (Saturday) in a car accident on road 446 between Paduel and Beit Aryeh.
The young man was trapped in his vehicle which degenerated into Wadadi.
After complex rescue operations, MDA paramedics pronounced him dead.
Senior MDA medic Nissim Vanino said: "The injured was trapped in a vehicle that slid into a wadi on the side of the road while he was unconscious with a very severe head injury.
We went down with the medical equipment in the wadi and together with the fire brigade rescued him from the vehicle to the intensive care unit.
We continued the medical treatment, but his injury was critical and he was pronounced dead in the field."
In another accident, on road 325 from Mitar crossing to Tana Omir, a 25-year-old woman was injured in the limbs and back and a one-year-old toddler was injured in the chest.
MDA teams gave them medical treatment and evacuated her to Soroka Hospital.
