During the incident, a driver was sent to hospital for treatment of hand and neck pain.
The police seized 20 packages of suspected methamphetamine in the car and are now cordoning off the scene for investigation and looking for the fugitive driver.
The vehicles involved included a school bus carrying 13 schoolchildren, a Tesla electric car, a taxi and a Volkswagen private car abandoned by the suspect.
According to the school bus driver surnamed Chen (71 years old), at that time, there was a traffic jam in the West Kowloon Corridor, and the vehicles stopped. Suddenly, a black Volkswagen private car drove up from behind, hit the right side of the taxi, bypassed the Lexus private car, and hit the taxi. The left body of the school bus hit the right rear body of the Tesla, but was trapped in the traffic lane.
The school bus driver continued that a police car sounded its horn a few seconds later, and a police officer got off the car and ran up.
A man in black shirt and trousers in the Volkswagen private car also got off the car and ran towards Tsuen Wan.
The Volkswagen stopped after hitting the right side of the Tesla, and the driver abandoned the car and fled.
