The renovation of the historic scratch inn in Mitterlern has visibly begun.

The investor who bought the traditional inn from the community is busy with gutting work.

"We are currently building everything that we are allowed and able to do," Werner Rotter told the Erdinger indicator.

But he is worried: "The construction site is objectively dangerous," he warned and urgently forbade anyone to enter.

"Otherwise there will be personal injury in the end, and nobody needs that."

Berglern – The fact that curious people simply walk into the construction site is not only trespassing, but also simply indecent.

The owner is quite upset, not only because of the liability issues.

Everything that the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments, but also the statics allow, has to be removed in order to be able to rebuild the interior, says the investor about the current status of the work.

All the building services are already outside.

The fact that there is a lot of tinkering going on in the historic building is also shown by the many trucks that constantly drive up to the property and then move off again in full force.

Last year, after intensive debates in the municipal council, the decision to sell was made, namely for the Erdinger architect, who would like to set up a restaurant again.

Rotter does not want to go into detail yet.

"There will certainly still be an opportunity to go public," he asked for patience.

This also has to do with the fact that it is practically impossible to draw up schedules for complete renovations like this one.
