Bad Tölz - Greilinger wins the main prize of the Tölz advent calendar

"It was definitely a pleasant surprise and a very nice Christmas present," reported Greilinger Peter Gmainer, from the moment he received the call that he was the main winner of the Tölz Advent Calendar 2022.

“I haven't thought about the fact that I still have the chance to win the main prizes.

But when I received the happy call, it came across as quite believable.” From that point on, he could look forward to a brand new, white Toyota Aygo X worth around 16,000 euros, which was available from the Toyota dealer Hubert Auer in Tölz these days was handed over.

"You just have to pick the right ones," smiled the main winner, who bought five tickets for the tombola at the 2022 Tölz Christmas market with his partner Michelina Perillo.

Around 35,000 lots were sold in total, explained Camilla Plöckl, chairwoman of the Tölz local group of workers' welfare (AWO), which officially organized the raffle.

"A very good result," confirmed Daniela Klaar, deputy market manager of the Tölzer Tourist Info (TI).

The net proceeds of the campaign will be divided among charitable organizations and clubs.

Gmainer will pass on the Aygo because he has no "automotive needs" himself.

In any case, he wants to thank the AWO with a donation.
