The municipality of Grünwald is pushing ahead with housing construction.
In the spring, she will start building an apartment building on Nibelungenstrasse.
Grünwald
– The combing department expects costs of 1.5 million euros.
The municipality had bought the house some time ago.
It was demolished and in its place is now an apartment building with five apartments plus an underground car park.
In some cases, contracts for the construction work have already been approved.
The Greens in the municipal council had suggested constructing the house as a model eco-house.
And it is actually being built in timber frame construction.
Many suggestions were taken up.
Electricity from three photovoltaic systems for parking garage
The building is directly adjacent to the municipal residential building on Hirtenweg, which is being energetically renovated.
In this context, a project is underway that bundles the solar energy of the two houses and adds the photovoltaics of the residential buildings above the underground car park on the market square.
The electricity generated from the three photovoltaic systems will then be used to illuminate the parking garage on the market square.
The connecting tunnels have already been laid.
