Summary.

One day in May 2012, police discovered an 87-year-old pensioner at the foot of his bed, at his home in Thonon-les-Bains in Haute-Savoie.

The man is in a trance.

His first blood tests show that he ingested a large amount of diazepam, a powerful anxiolytic, in a few days.

This former professor of economics had recently hosted a woman.

Patricia Dagorn, 52, had approached Robert during a walk and since then, the latter presented her as his companion.

From the start, Patricia's behavior intrigues the investigators.

They suspect her of poisoning, and begin to dig into her past...

In Crime story, journalist Clawdia Prolongeau recounts this investigation with Damien Delseny, head of the police-justice department of Le Parisien.
