At 9:35 a.m. today (14th), a four-vehicle collision occurred in the direction of West Kowloon Corridor towards Tsuen Wan, opposite Tung Chow Street, involving two private cars, a school bus and a taxi; but one of the private cars The driver, after the accident, abandoned the car and fled.
According to the news at the scene, the private car was being chased by the police. When it encountered a traffic jam, it tried to hit the car but failed, so it abandoned the car and fled.
A driver suffered hand and neck pain during the incident and was sent to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police are on scene investigating the accident and looking for the missing driver.
The vehicles involved included a school bus carrying 13 schoolchildren, a Tesla electric car, a taxi, and a Volkswagen private car abandoned by the suspect.
According to the school bus driver, there was a traffic jam in the West Kowloon Corridor at that time, and the vehicles all stopped. Suddenly, the black Volkswagen private car drove up from behind, hit the right side of the taxi, bypassed a Lexus private car, and hit the left side of the school bus. Hit the right rear car of Tesla again, but was trapped in the traffic lane immediately.
The school bus driver continued that a police car sounded its horn a few seconds later, and a police officer got out of the car and ran up.
In the Volkswagen private car involved, a man dressed in black got out of the car and ran towards Tsuen Wan.

The taxi driver who was hit recalled the incident: “A police car was chasing him. He (the fugitive driver) rushed over and hit my car, followed by the school bus and Tesla. A man opened the door and got out of the car. Turn around, pick up your bags (in the car), and walk towards the overpass.”
According to the news at the scene, the private car involved in the incident was on Ferry Street near Shantung Street in Mong Kok. Because it violated traffic regulations, the other party accelerated and fled when the traffic police were about to stop it.
It is understood there were 20 packets of suspected methamphetamine in the car.
