same attachment to the fight against the extreme right

”, she said, in reference to the controversial remarks of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of the Insoumis, on the forces of order.

We consider companies as a necessity to create wealth and then better share it

The pro-Nupes line of outgoing PS boss Olivier Faure ended Friday at the top of the Socialists' vote (49.15%) ahead of that of Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol (30.51%), the third candidate, the mayor of Vaulx- en-Velin, Hélène Geoffroy obtaining 20.34%.

Activists must decide between the two finalists on Thursday, Hélène Geoffroy having called to vote for Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol.
"
We are challenged but victory is perfectly possible
," said the latter, for whom Friday's vote expresses an "
expectation for renewal and unity
" at the PS.

Renewal because it has to change, we have to put in some air, fresh air, we have to open the doors and windows of the party and then the rally because our party has been too fractured
”.
Carole Delga judged that the approach of "
Refondations
", a current created in the fall and led by Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol, had "
taken
" well from the activists because they "
felt that there was a real collective, a real positive attitude and that we weren't there to knock others out
".

We cannot continue in these perpetual wars
,” she said.

The Socialist Party must restore the desire to party and more desire to leave
," summarized Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol.
Regarding the Nupes, he pleaded for an "
allies without being aligned
" line, believing that the alliance within the left should be made on clear positions concerning the far right, the relationship to Europe, to the Republic and secularism.
