A source in the Russian army announced today that the Russian air defense media responded to a missile attack by Ukrainian forces on the city of Melitopol, in the Zaporozhye region.
Russia Today website quoted the source as saying: “According to the latest data, the Russian air defense units shot down several missiles launched from the positions of the Ukrainian forces towards civilian areas in Melitopol,” stressing that the air defense units worked perfectly and that the city was reliably protected.
The source pointed out that the Kyiv regime continues to bomb the city's civilian infrastructure, without caring about possible civilian casualties.
It is noteworthy that the situation on the front line in the Zaporozhye region is still tense, as attempts by the forces of the Kyiv regime have been continuing for several weeks to launch attacks on the territory of the region.
