He was taken to the hospital in a mild-moderate condition.
The police opened an investigation and later arrested a 15-year-old boy, a resident of the city, who is suspected of being involved in the case.
The investigation was opened after the police received a report of a fight with many participants in a public garden on Eliyahu Hakim Street in the city.
The young man, who separated two boys in a fight, remained sitting in the public garden.
After a while some masked men came and attacked him with various assault tools.
The injured young man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be released from the emergency room soon.
