A car fell into a sinkhole that opened in Hod Hasharon
A sinkhole opened today (Saturday) in a street in the city of Hod Hasharon and a private car fell into it.
No one was injured in the incident.
It is believed that the collapse was caused by an explosion in an underground water pipe.
Following the sinkhole, this morning the police made changes to the traffic arrangements on Haganim Street in the city in accordance with the changes in road conditions.
Engineering and municipality officials were summoned for further treatment, with the aim of returning traffic to normal as soon as possible.
Later, a tractor arrived at the scene and removed the vehicle from the sinkhole.
The authorities did not report any other collapse centers on the road.
