A Florida woman wonders why her kitchen floor keeps getting wet.

Until she catches her Border Collie Willy in the act.

It's always amazing how clever dogs are and look for solutions or ways to get what they want.

Some four-legged friends inspire with adaptive intelligence.

In other words, they are able to learn from their environment, find out things for themselves and adapt their behavior to their needs.

Border Collie Willy seems to be just such a four-legged friend.

If he's thirsty, he doesn't drink from his bowl, but uses the family's water dispenser instead.

This shows a TikTok video that is currently going viral.

Willy's mistress shared the funny clip and within a very short time it received more than 17 million views.

No wonder the dog's action is just hilarious.

If you think of wet floors, many a dog owner's head cinema immediately sets in.

But in the video about Willy, the wetness has a different background.

You can see how the 3-year-old male pushes the lever of the water dispenser with his paw.

Most of the liquid ends up on the floor.

However, the Border Collie doesn't seem to care about this at all.

He continues to drink happily.

His mistress is anything but enthusiastic about the huge puddle he leaves behind – the users on the net are very much so, as the numerous comments show.
