On October 20, 1967, the first episode of the program "Aktenzeichen XY... unsolved" was broadcast on ZDF.

6 / 10After the long Zimmermann era, the ZDF crime show "Aktenzeichen XY... unsolved" will have a new face from January 18, 2002: Ex-sportsman Rudi Cerne will be the new "criminal hunter" after Zimmermann and daughter Sabine.

It is still in use for ZDF today.

7 / 10On September 19, 2009, the moderator of "Aktenzeichen XY... unsolved" died in Munich.

With the crime show, he became known beyond the German-speaking world as a "criminal hunter".

He was married to Rosmarie Zimmermann for over 40 years.

The crime show on ZDF is still one of the most popular and well-known programs on German TV today.

10 / 10Not only criminal cases and homicides belong to the portfolio of the exciting crime show "Aktenzeichen XY". In July 2022, for example, ZDF will show a special with mysterious missing persons cases.
