The Palace of Culture Theater in the city of Homs hosted the first activities of the Children's Theater Festival, which is organized by the Directorate of Theaters and Music at the Ministry of Culture, coinciding with the remedial school holiday.
The Nirvana Folklore Ensemble presented a dance performance directed at children and young people, trained and directed by Bilal Arafa.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Arafa indicated that the show targeted children and adolescents to present their artistic talents and benefit from them fruitfully, pointing out that theatrical performances with the participation of children push them to develop their artistic, aesthetic and creative sense, indicating that the troupe presents various theatrical performances for adults and children and has participation in festivals in several governorates.
It is noteworthy that the band was established in Damascus, then moved to Homs in 2006, and was revived in 2014.
