Ten months before the elections, the veteran councilor in Bat Yam and holder of the education and culture portfolio announces: "The city is undergoing a revolution, Brut is a leader with professionalism, wisdom and honesty."

The mayor of Bat Yam, Zvika Brot continues to grow stronger: his replacement Eli Yariv, head of the Bat Yam One faction, announced for the first time that he will not run for mayor of Bat Yam himself and strengthens his support for Brot in the upcoming elections to be held at the end of the year.

What it means: Brut, who won close to 70 percent support in the last published polls, is getting another boost from his senior partner.

Now more agreements are expected to be signed soon, this after the Yisrael Beitenu party already signed with Brut and joined the coalition led by him a few months ago.

Yariv is the oldest councilor in the city council, and in the last elections he won four mandates.

He serves as the holder of the education and culture portfolio, and together with Brut led the revolution in education and culture that included the greatest achievement ever in graduation rates - 90.6 percent success - as well as the first love festival that was in the summer, and the fountain festival which was visited by 100 thousand people from all over the country.

In addition, Yariv was a full partner in Brut's efforts in the fight against corruption, the elimination of the deficit, and the transition of Bat-Yam from a nuclear city to a balanced and debt-free city.

Now the city administration, led by Brut and Riv, is leading a massive investment in the development of parks, gardens, replacing sidewalks, and also establishing a personal security patrol funded by the municipality.

To Brut's credit is also the lowering of the property tax as he promised, as well as a free class for every child project that he promised and has implemented for the first time in Israel.

According to Yariv, "The goal is to continue the new, brave and groundbreaking spirit that has been blowing in the city in recent years. Zvika has proven that he is worthy of the public's trust, leading it with wisdom, professionalism and responsibility. Together with joint forces, we managed to lead the city to a real revolution that positions the city of Bat Yam as a leading city in Israel ".

Yariv added that "I pledge that together we will continue to work hard for you, around the clock, and we will never be able to set Bat-Yam back. Bat-Yam is waking up today, and we will make sure to continue the momentum with the help of professional management, transparency and cleanliness. Of course, there is still a lot of work ahead of us, And we will continue it thanks to your love."

Brot himself published a post in which he thanked his opponent for his friendship, partnership and trust, and wrote that "all of us together will continue to work hard to continue the revolution in Bat Yam, and make sure that the city will never go back. There is still a lot of work ahead of us and we will do it professionally, with discretion, with transparency and with clean hands ".
