With its "Ball of Clubs", EV Moosburg, supported by the Narrhalla, has revived the masked carnival in the city - and how!

Moosburg

- From elves and magicians to comic figures and work clothes to various sports outfits and fantasy costumes: The "Ball of Clubs" in Moosburg's town hall was masked.

A special feature in the Dreirosenstadt.

"It's amazing to stand here and see you in your masquerades," said Prince Christian II. "Your seed hero from Amperfeld".

Because there, where almost every club or larger company had organized its own masked carnival ball for decades, where there was hardly any possibility of getting tickets for the highlights such as the fire brigade ball, Real, Eishackler or Narrhalla Ball, there was already in the years before Corona NOTHING.

The tradition of the big masked carnival balls seemed to come to an end.

Even more beautiful,

that the EV Moosburg, in cooperation with the Narrhalla, has again launched a "Ball of Clubs" in the town hall for all masked fools this year.

And what a!

Everyone who wasn't there on Saturday definitely missed something.

Costumed people from a wide variety of Moosburg clubs and organizations celebrated a lavish party in the well-filled town hall.

The highlight of the evening was the performance of Narrhalla Moosburg with the Funky Dancing Teens, the Garde, the Elfern and the royal couple and their royal household.

EVM board member Georg Asen and media officer Lena Gersdorf welcomed the guests of honor, the visitors - and Narrhalla, who was the godfather of the ball and provided help and advice.

"And without them it wouldn't have worked at all," Gersdorf stated.

The thanks of the EVM also went to the city administration, the catering of the Reiter-Bräu and the band Z'ruck zu dir, who made everything possible at such short notice.

Because the final planning of the event had only started in December.

An organizational team with Christian Seidlmayer, Christiane Germaier, Claudia Moissl-Wilhelm and Lena Gersdorf initiated everything, gathered supporters and helpers and put a great ball on its feet.

"You always hear that Eishacklerball used to be so outstanding," said Christian Seidlmayer, "We've been thinking for a long time: Why are we, as a club that has written the motto 'Ice hockey connects Moosburg' on its flag, not like that again?

At some point you just have to dare.”

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

His wife Nadine, who is also president of the Narrhalla Moosburg, was only too happy to support: "Masked balls are so important because it's simply carnival in its origins, it's part of Moosburg and it's just nice when people get together again.

The EVM did a great job of that.”

There was a relaxed atmosphere at the "Ball of Clubs" on Saturday in the town hall.

Everyone was harnessed to the ice choppers.

For example, the storm duo Stefan Groß and Max Retzer in the dressing room or the Canadian contingent player Cedrick Chagnon with defender Vinzenz Maier as bartender.

The party band Z'ruck zu dir made a huge contribution to the success of the evening, providing the athletes with an extra training session on the dance floor until the early morning with their varied programme.

There was something for everyone, from the slow waltz and "Layla" to "Polonaise Blankenese", "Purple Rain", Schnucki going to Kentucky to "I would walk 500 miles" and "Hello Klaus".

The bonus in the form of liquid food for the numerically largest group costume went to the "Bonau Isar Riders", and three winners were also found for the raffle in favor of the EVM youth.

In the end, the ball visitors, who were in a good mood, did everything they could to fulfill Princess Tanja III's wish.

"of housing from the Feldkirchner Au" and to set the "Ball of Clubs" in the carnival calendar as a new fixed point in the tradition of the legendary Eishackler balls.
