In the municipality of Hallbergmoos, the Narrhalla has now taken over the reigns - with an enthronement ball that turned into a great spectacle.

In the coming carnival weeks, dragons, elves and villains will populate the stages and dance floors - led by Martin V. (Lederer) and Angelina I. (Piller).
The new royal couple took over the regency on Saturday at the enthronement ball in the community hall.

A good 200 guests in fine robes attended the festive ceremony.
Court Marshal Philipp Schön and “Hofmichelle” Michelle Lederer hosted the evening.
It is a special carnival in many ways: the last carnival season was three years ago.
Seen in this way, Thomas and Tanja, the "old" royal couple, will go down in the history books as the longest-serving madness.
In the meantime they have become parents of a daughter.

After saying goodbye to the predecessors, their Highnesses presented themselves in a sovereign manner: the oath of office came from Martin V. and Angelina I. without the slightest mistake – however, only a soft whisper could be heard from the princess due to voice problems.
The inaugural speech of the two, who had previously danced in the Guard for ten and nine years respectively and have been involved privately for three years, was also superb.
"So it was logical that we should also become a royal couple," says Martin V. He is now looking forward "to the fabulous journey" and to experiencing carnival from a new perspective.
"It will be a hammer show," promised the prince, who also trains the guard with Sandra Lackermeier and Antje Techentin.
Stephan Ziegler, tournament dancer and Bavarian runner-up, had prepared the royal couple for their performance.
A first for the mayor too
But before that could happen, the insignia of power had to be handed over: "Today is also a first for me," said Mayor Josef Niedermair when handing over the keys to the town hall.
He was pleased that after the Corona years, curfews and restrictions, “other masks” – namely those of fools – are now coming to the fore.
"And we can celebrate that in a democratic handover without storming the town hall."
He added: "I'm pleased that the booth is full and that you can hopefully make up for the lost time." The head of the community caused laughter with his statement that he expected the princely couple to go to work on Monday morning in the town hall.
And that he would not leave the stage without the obligatory shot of schnapps.

During the pandemic years, as far as possible, people trained for the big performance and the show program in the “World of Fantasy” was fine-tuned.
A world of myths, fairy tales and legendary figures.
The choreography is peppered with lifts, throws and acrobatic elements.
In a fantastic world, mythical creatures meet, a fight of "good" against "evil" is staged by dragons, villains and elves.
The worlds are ultimately united by the love of the princely couple.
And so the evening culminated in a spectacular midnight show and fireworks of good spirits.
That made the moments of shock at the beginning of the event quickly forgotten: a fire alarm had been triggered in the kitchen.
However, the firefighters present were able to give the all-clear quickly.
