Nidal Abu Latif, head of the crime organization Abu Latif, was arrested today (Sunday) along with another suspect, Ammar Dabah, a resident of Deir al-Assad, after the two were wanted on suspicion of attempted murder.
The two were arrested when they were hiding in a commercial vehicle that was driving from the direction of the Authority's territory to the village of Rama.
They have recently been hiding in the territories of the Palestinian Authority, and tens of thousands of dollars and shekels in cash were found on their bodies.

Three other suspects in the attempted murder were arrested near the incident, some of them were caught in Israel when they tried to flee the country.
The Abu Latif organization is the main generator of crime in the northern region and is associated with the crimes of extorting sponsorship fees, biasing tenders, arson and violence.
