Earthero Studio will hold a sustainable fashion art exhibition sponsored by K11 Group (“K11”) from January 14th to 15th, 2023: Dream Chaser ~ Earthero Studio “Craft Gathering” (“Dream Chaser”).

Following the success of the first exhibition held by Earthero Studio last year, this exhibition continues the theme of craft gathering, providing a platform for local young artists to showcase their creativity in different fields, including hand-painting on fabrics, while also raising public awareness of Continuing fashion awareness.

"Dream Chaser" is composed of unique hand-painted works created by eight Hong Kong artists on slow-moving fabrics. Each work will be divided into nine squares to form a puzzle, and then sewn on nine T-shirts.

Art jigsaw puzzles with optical illusions

In the "Dream Chaser" sustainable clothing art exhibition, the public will walk into Nature Discovery Park, Hong Kong's first indoor and outdoor nature museum and sustainable development education park located at K11 MUSEA, and discover each complete painting for themselves.

This exhibition uses optical illusions to display works of art divided into nine squares, and the public needs to find a specific location to view the entire painting.

The optical illusion setup of "Dream Chaser" symbolizes Earthero Studio's mission to trigger the public to break through traditional thinking through a more conscious appreciation of the essence of things.

The public can purchase each T-shirt with hand-painted art puzzles on the spot, and part of the proceeds will be donated to Environmental Sense, a local NGO dedicated to raising public awareness of environmental protection through education.

Sustainable Interactive Workshop

In addition to the T-shirt art display, there are also two parent-child workshops for the public to sign up for.

The "Embroidery and Upcycling Reusable Bag Workshop" allows participants to learn how to upcycle slow-moving handbags using simple embroidery techniques.

Participants in the Denim Upcycling Bracelet Workshop learned how to make their own sustainable bracelets by recycling shredded denim.

Sustainable Craftsmanship and the Environment

Bertha, one of the founders of Earthero Studio, said: "In simple terms, design and art can attract people's attention. Through these mediums, we hope to increase people's awareness and appreciation of talent, craftsmanship and environment." In "Dream Chaser" , Earthero Studio hopes to achieve the same goal.

Earthero Studio participated in this year's Impact Kommons, which is Asia's first start-up acceleration program based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), supporting start-up companies to expand sustainable development solutions in the new world ecosystem.

Dream Chaser is part of a long-term business integration plan with New World under Impact Kommons, aiming to raise awareness of sustainable fashion among K11 MUSEA visitors through the unique Nature Discovery Park.

This exhibition is also in line with New World's commitment to building sustainable communities by supporting local sustainable startups, emerging young artists and promoting sustainable lifestyles.
